Payment and Insurance Options

Center Peace Couples and Family Therapy accepts both self-pay and the following insurance plans: Aetna, Cigna, Optum and United Healthcare. For Employee Assistant Programs, Center Peace acceptsUnited Healthcare EAP, Optum Live & Work Well EAP, and Aetna Resources for Living EAP.

For Self Pay

We understand that many times when clients are seeking therapy services an economical approach is most desirable. If you are in need of mental health services, it is important you receive services with or without insurance coverage. We would also like you to consider some of the benefits of receiving therapy in private pay, or also called self-pay, setting:

Flexibility in choosing your therapist. When you are using a private pay option you are not obligated to choose from the therapists provided through your insurance plan.  You are able to choose the therapist that best suits your needs, location, and personal preference.

No diagnosis on your medical record (or your child’s medical record). Since insurance companies are a part of the Medical Information Bureau (MIB), they are required to submit your mental health diagnosis to be kept on your record which can impact your eligibility for armed forces, life insurance, disability insurance, and/or future insurance coverage. When opting for private pay, this is never a concern since your health information is never submitted to the MIB.

Confidentiality. When using a private pay practitioner, confidentiality will remain intact without a chance of the insurance company requesting needed information regarding your diagnosis, treatment, treatment plan, or progress of the treatment.

No limit to the number of sessions you can receive. Insurance companies may limit the number of sessions you can receive depending on your plan, the diagnosis, or other factors. When choosing private pay, or self-pay options, you and your therapist are able to choose when treatment is effective and/or treatment is terminated.

Forms of payment accepted include: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, HSA & FSA cards, Loveland vouchers
